Grubhub is always looking to attract great new restaurants to its platform. But restaurant owners are busy people, and it takes more than another email or postcard to get their attention.
I liked the thought of showing the owner a vision of a successful future in which they sign up for Grubhub. After much brainstorming, a teammate and I landed on an idea: what if we could customize an old-school ViewMaster-style toy, complete with a slide carousel that makes our pitch?
